About Valley Forge Middle School
Valley Forge is located in the suburbs of historic Chester County about fifteen miles from Philadelphia. Originally opened in September 1965 as Valley Forge Junior High School for grades 7 through 9. It was renamed Valley Forge Middle School and restructured to serve students in grades 5 through 8 in 1985. The 2015-2016 school year marked the celebration of the school’s 50th anniversary, underscoring its long-standing tradition of educational excellence.
Today, Valley Forge is one of two middle schools in the the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District, serving approximately 1,000 students. The school offers a supportive and challenging academic environment that fosters intellectual growth, personal development, and preparation for Conestoga High School and beyond.
Students from New Eagle, Valley Forge, and Hillside Elementary Schools transition to VFMS to continue their educational journey in a vibrant and inclusive learning environment. VFMS fosters a safe and equitable community that promotes well-being, integrity, social responsibility, and a passion for learning.
